This chess set is so beautiful! I opened the box, and I wanted to learn to play right away. I will have to wait patiently for Christmas though, because this is a gift for my chess-loving husband. I truly have never been more excited to give him a gift in the 31 years we have been married. Our chess set order was purchased as a Christmas gift and had noticeable cosmetic scratch on the chess board top. Upon contacting Chess House, a replacement board top was shipped immediately and arrived promptly in time for Christmas. The replacement board top was in perfect condition.
