Great board, exactly what I was expecting. I would highly recommend this board. I paired this board with a set with a king height of 3 1/4"

Update - Not as good as I thought

Well, I left a 5 star review but I feel I must change it. Lets see if they allow me to update it or if I need to post this on chess.com to let people know.
I have been using this board for less than a month. The size is very nice size. The colors look good. However, I have had to repair the veneer on the sides 3 times now. The veneer on the sides of the board have been separating from the base and I have had to re-glue it. Hopefully the top of the board will not start doing the same.
This is the second board that I have had issues of poor quality, probably won't ever order from The Chess House again.

A great board for a smaller set

I bought this board for a 3" Zagreb set in Boxwood and Ebonized Boxwood. The set fits perfectly on this board. The board itself looks very nice. The wood grain in the sapele is very noticeable and runs in the same direction of the maple (a pet peeve of mine when the grain run perpendicular).
The colors go great together and with the boxwood and black the contrast of everything is very pleasing.
The size is perfect, I have another 1.75" board that is larger and thicker. This board is almost perfect for a library setup or as a study board on a large desk (which is where I have mine right now).
I would highly recommend this board for anyone needing a 1.75" board. You won't regret it.
