This is a very handsome looking wooden chess set. Love the size. It doesn’t take up too much real estate, yet it’s substantial enough to provide a nice playing experience. Folds with convenient piece storage, ready to go for the next game. Good communication from the seller, and shipping was quick.
Hands down by far the best chess set in its class. The pieces are well crafted and look gorgeous on the board. The color scheme is well designed to have a clearer view while playing.

My board arrived damaged and very obviously was never checked before it was shipped. Damage clearly not caused by shipping to me from Washington. Now normally I would not give a 5 star rating, but what impressed me was the customer service. I couldn't get through on the phone which I understood since it was two days before Christmas. I tried email. Got a response very quickly from the CEO. I didn't have the Christmas gift I really wanted for my husband which put a damper on my excitement of giving him something as beautiful as this chess set, but a shipping label was sent to me and I have been told I will receive a full refund. If you have questions or concerns, they are answered promptly. I can't trust getting another shipped to me after my gift being ruined but go with this company for customer service.
