Beautiful board at a reasonable price.
First let me say that I finally have a professional wooden chess board to go with my 4 and1/4" king wooden chess pieces I had for at least a dozen years. The set looks perfectly matched to this board so I am satisfied. However in one corner there seems to be a slight roughness or damage to the veneer. It's so slight that I didn't notice it until a day later. Anyway, it's a great board to match my set that actually resembles the Sinquefield set, though the knight is the only piece that is completely different, the rest of the pieces are very similar, but this is about the board. Well these pieces of mine never looked quite right on any board I used. Now they look at home on this board.
Love the board ……but my grandkids are still beating me😳☺️
