This was a gift for my Grandson's 15th birthday. He is becoming quite the chess player and this all wood, hand-made, set is perfect for encouraging his continued growth in playing. I was impressed with the craftsmanship and know he will thoroughly enjoy it.
I am very pleased with this chess set. I chose it because I like the way the chess pieces were designed and the board being almost 16 inches was not too small. I would definitely buy it again. Great little travel set.

BEAUTIFUL CHESS SET...
I was a little thrown off that there were what seemed like plastic felt inserts as the dividers inside of the board as storage but I think that is their way of solving the issue with the little green fuzzies getting everywhere from the other reviews. I'm very pleased with the board. The pieces were as good as a cheaper set should be but I may definetly invest in some more expensive pieces later on. Still very happy with the purchase.
