Exceeded expectations May 9, 2013

I bought this set a few months ago, and I am in love with it. The pieces have a nice heft, and the design is cool enough to have it sitting out all the time, which means I get to play more often. I'm not huge on form over function, but this set is wonderful to use and just happens to be gorgeous, so I think I can make an exception.
The pieces seem a little poorly detailed, and the black pieces are actually a very dark green, but those are only noticeable on close inspection. Also, the trim around the board is a bit... Well, the board is just gigantic, I barely had a surface large enough for it.
The customer service I recieved when I ordered this set was fantastic! It was advertised on sale for $30 off, with the board included, but when I went to check out it said that it was only $20 off. I sent an email letting them know the ad and checkout prices didn't match. Within maybe 5 or 6 minutes, I had a response saying they fixed the problem, and knocked the other $10 off the payment.
