Great Learning Tool

I’ve been playing online matches against other players, and against the computer for a few weeks now.

I often found that I wasn’t doing a good job of seeing the “big picture,” if you will. As a beginner, I believe this is to be somewhat expected.

This book, however, has started helping me expand my view of the board. It does an excellent job of making you look at all of the pieces before you make your decision.

I also really like the way the book is laid out. It makes it so that you can’t peak at the answer without physically turning the page, which I believe helps me even more.

Overall, I’m really satisfied with this book. It’s a very useful learning tool.

A must for the beginning chess player

This is a good and easy to read book but it is really for the very beginner. Skip this book if you've been playing for a while.
