With the British looking very trim in their sharp uniforms and the French doing the same, if it went by that alone it would be a tie! The stunningly refreshing look of this set will bring delight to any player.

This battle chess set also takes an interesting turn with the different pieces. Straight through the set, there is that ramrod stiffness characteristic of the best naval officers and men. Also, each piece has a finely detailed national flag on the pedestal below each chessman, and the only thing lacking is a boat big enough to put them in! Overall, a lovely addition to any collection or standing by itself, the centerpiece.
