About this product   One of these is the Panov Attack, (3.exd5 cxd5 4.c4), by means of which White immediately attacks the center, but in doing so must also accept possible positions with an isolated d4-pawn. A second theme on the CD is the Exchange Variation, in which White exchanges on d5 but then does not play c4. It is considered to be harmless but attained a fair amount of popularity after Fischer's brilliant victory over Petrosian (Belgrade 1970). It is a favorite of players who do not wish to take risks. The author, Petronijevic, treats all the variations which come under B13 and B14 in great detail.
