Chronos FX is a smaller chronos. It lacks just a few features of the large chronos, but nothing that 90% of chess players use. The Chronos FX Digital Game Clock has 8 tournament chess modes, 4 blitz chess modes, and 12 user-preset modes. It has options to save move-times, generate shuffle chess positions, and adjust beeper pitch, amonth other things. See the Chronos FX PDF manual for details on features.

The chronos FX is similar to the GX, except that the display is in one large window, instead of two, as in the GX, and the move counter is in the center of the display.  It has the time-on-move feature, and most of the features of the GX, except it does not have any go modes. It is the old style small clock previously called the "Blitz", which was a bad name since it gave the impression that tournament modes were not supported.

Chronos clocks are considered by most chess players to be the best quality because of their metal casing, solid electronics, and nearly flawless, reliable operation.

The touch sensor senses the touch of a finger for a very sharp, immediate response. An audible "chirp" sound gives you feedback that you've touched the sensor.
