Terrible customer service

This is the second time I'm writing a review, let's see if this one gets posted.
I paid over $35 for expedited shipping for a guarantee delivery on December 23, when I received my order confirmation FedEx showed delivery on the 28th. I called Chess house numerous times and was never able to get a live person, was only able to actually leave a voicemail twice as their phone system puts you in a loop and sometimes doesn't let you. I sent 2 emails as well, and no one has ever responded. Today is the 29th and I've never heard from anyone. The chess set was delivered today.... Horrible company.

Nice quality & shipped quickly

We were really happy with the quality of this set. The mat is thick enough that it lays perfectly flat even though it comes rolled up. The pieces are solid and not a cheap lightweight plastic. I only wish it had come with some sort of how to get started instructions. I see where you can download instructions on their website but I wouldn't have known that unless I specifically looked for it. Highly recommend the set. My 8-year-old niece loved it. Colors and size of pieces are perfect for her. Also shipped quickly even the week before Christmas.

Terrible customer service

I ordered this and paid over $30 for expedited shipping to get by Christmas, my order said it would be delivered on December 23rd. I received a shipping confirmation that it'll be delivered on December 28th. That would be 10 day shipping from FedEx which is not what I paid for. I tried calling many times and can't get through to anyone. When I tried to leave a message it kept transferring me though the phone system. I was finally able to leave a message after calling about 20 times over 2 days. I also sent 2 emails asking why it's taking so long to be delivered, and was charged so much for shipping when it's going to practically walk here. You can't get a real person to respond. So disappointed.

Fabulous pink and purple chess set from ChessHouse

My 5 year old grandaughter loves it ! It seems indestructible which is great because I am sure she will be playing with it for years to come.... which was the idea! Terrific customer service with personal email correspondence when the purple case was sold out... they suggested pink.... even better! Got all the way up here to Canada in a flash! Thanks so much! I will be repeat customer!
