The program is the sequel to Encyclopedia of Middlegame (the materials of these programs don't overlap). By GM Alexander Kalinin. CD contains a course Typical Plans and Methods in the Most Popular Openings.

The program is not another Middlegame I version but a completely new program supplied with the different material. Theory unit contains over 650 well annotated & classified instructive examples.

The program includes two independent detailed tables of contents (Opening lines and Typical Plans and methods).

More than 600 exercises for you to solve the positions. Each position suggests that you should find one or several best moves that are typical for the certain variant and appeared in the Masters' and Grandmasters' games.

While solving, you are provided with refutations for your wrong moves and hints to help you. Your rating is calculated according to your success and is adjusted after each example. 150 typical positions or any of your positions. It is possible to train and play against Crafty, the built-in playing engine. The playing engine Shredder 4 is included.

Any chosen material (both theory and practice) can be printed. Set the pieces type and size, font and background. Several languages supported: English, Spanish and Russian.
