Lack of enthusiasm December 11, 2007

I've seen Aagaard's DVD "Attacking Chess", and partly read some of his books and it's always been very interesting and entertaining. However, this DVD is different in a sense that now he sits there like he's just executing his job ("I'm getting paid to give these lectures, otherwise I wouldn't be bothered").

Note: in 2004 his rating was in a slump (about 2370), while at the moment it's 2470. Still, taking in account that he's a Lion (Astrologically speaking), he should have thought a little about his fans, because it's pretty dull watching him like this...

4 stars purely for the content of this DVD (0 stars for Aagaard's performance)!
