We love this magnetic chess set. The chess board is clean and nicely finished allowing for sliding drawer storage of the entire set of pieces. We're impressed with the quality overall. the pieces are standard Staunton style and don't have great detail, but they are still easily recognized as Staunton pieces. You will find them clearly distinguished from one other.

The magnets are strong enough to turn the board up side down and the pieces will still cling to the board surface. Overall it's a great collectible set that you can keep for years and enjoy as a travel or around-the-house mid range wood chess set.

Camphor wood provides a unique contrasting board and the light and dark pieces help enhance that contrast so important to a good chess set.

This high-quality 10-inch Camphor Wood Magnetic Chess Set is the best and most durable board you're going to find in this size. Sold all over the web, Chess House offers its best price! Similar to other magnetic sets, it does not include extra Queens. I've purchased many chess boards and sets over the years, but I play on this one more than all the others combined. Great for burning time when waiting in doctors' offices, planes, or anywhere you're forced to wait for the world.

This board makes a great gift to yourself, or heck, even to someone else.
