Can you say Classical? Classical with flair? Then you can see this set! Medieval Times Theme Chess Set is the word for a beautiful, classically oriented, and all-round stunning theme set! Red and Blue clear acrylic bases give each piece extra lustre and eye-candy value. Also, with providing the bust of these pieces, the faces and distinctive features of each piece can be much larger and clearer!

Set in Medieval times, the kings are imposing figures in their crown and armor, with the striking queen at their sides in her jewels and coronet. The bishops look very much like authentic Bishops with fine embroidered robes and distinctive headgear. Then, on to the knights; or shall we say, horses? The portrait of these warhorses captures both the strength and intelligence of the horses that formed the core of medieval armies. The rooks could be nothing else but a castle to denote the strength and power of medieval countries and nations. And finally, the one who bore the brunt of battle, the heavily armored knight masquerades as the lowly pawn. I think I'd think twice about the 'lowly' part!

With the 'blue' pieces having blue acrylic bases and blue and green motifs, and the 'red' pieces with red acrylic bases and red and royal purple motifs, you are ready to venture into battle against all comers!

These finely made chess sets are made of poly-resin plastic. Each piece is hand-painted using long lasting, lead-free paint. These pieces are not recommended for children below 10 years of age since they will break if dropped or played with roughly.
