About this product   It doesn't look like a chess set until you open it. Easily slip it under a pillow, your seat cushion, glove box, or other quick places. Shouldn't take you more than 0.98 seconds to close and slip into your pocket. Less than 1/2" thick when closed you can fit the small metal chess set in your pocket. When it's open for play, the set measures about 7 inches. Magnets are strong. Flip the set shut any time you need to save the game. Great value in a strong piece April 5, 2008 Reviewer: Zaine Ridling from Missouri, US   This is the best, most durable metal travel set you can buy. The disk pieces are like small thick coins with very strong magnets, but if you like, you can replace with any other disk or small pieces. Attractive, easy to carry, and the board squares neither fade nor wear over time. Trust me, I've tried as an experiment and the frosted-etched light square finish holds up. Wonderful Set!!! January 19, 2008 Reviewer: John Sizzle from Anywhere, AA United States   I got this set just 2 days ago and I'm already in love with it!!! I played my dad about 10 times and I finally beat him. In the middle of one of the games, we stopped and held the board up-side down, and every single piece stayed on the board! I love this set for traveling, however I am upset that there are no extra queens and the difference between the white and black squares is very confusing since the two colors are shiny silver and a dulled silver. My dad and I are having trouble deciding which ones are black and which ones are white. Other than that, I have no complaints for this perfectly wonderful set!!!
