Our 20" vinyl chess boards work perfectly with these pieces. You can step up to a nice leather chess board or even a wood board with the same size squares for an even better playing experience! The Paladin chess set comes with 4 queens! Pieces have real green felt on bottom.

I just played in a tournament where these
really nice sets were used. They are nicely
weighted and balanced. and are the same as the older Dreuke players choice set except for the white pieces are not
cream colored, plus the bottoms will not
fall out like the old ones! I would certainly
recomend it over the hastings set which
looks nice but i did not really like playing
with it. (Applause for Chess House for
bringing back one of the greatest plastic
set of all time, and keeping it faithful to the original!)
