We love this chess set. We are the ultimate beginners, so it’s our first experience. It is easy to store and the roll up board flattens immediately. The pieces are the perfect weight. It even comes with two queens in case we get good enough to use them . We are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend it.

Much larger than anticipated!

This set is really nice! Should have read the dimensions; was hoping for something smaller but I believe this is regulation size. Just heads up to review dimensions before purchasing. Arrived very quickly once it was back in stock.

Love it! Just what I wanted.
No unnecessary and distracting bells and whistles — just a solid, sturdy, very user-friendly chess set. Perfect for actually playing — not sitting on a fancy table gathering dust and LOOKING like somebody might play. . . maybe. . . sometime. . .

Nice Set

It is a nice chess set at a reasonable price. I was looking for a full size set with solid pieces for durability and this one fit my needs. The board is nice also though it is not quite what I was expecting. I was thinking it was cloth of some sort and it is made like a mouse pad, a layer of thin flexible foam with the cloth print on top. Works good though.
