The chess player's search for a unique chess set could end here! The Roosters and Hens theme chess set is most definitely a one of a kind. The invitation for the barnyard squawkers into the peace and solicitude of the chess study is simply dreadful! Happily though, the roosters and hens are all on totally abnormal best behavior, and don't let out a peep of sound the whole time you play with them. To be reasonable, you'd expect at least a bad-natured cluck from a disgruntled hen, but these examples of fowl pieces are definitely filling the bill!

The rather eye-catching colors of each piece is just one of the many recommendations for this set; it is simply a must for anyone who lives in the country, or wishes to have a taste of what the country can be like. Of course, it is a rather unusually peaceful taste!

Who knows though, might the docile chickens start from their sleepy mode and go to the fray with noises only they know how to make? You can find out, but first, choose your side. Will you take the brighter colored flock with a proud leader perched on his henhouse, or will you choose the 'dark side', with bright red heads atop their black feathers?

Each rooster and hen in the back row is neatly perched on its own little chickenhouse, while the chickens in the front row are pertly sitting with every feather in place. The base of each piece is also conveniently color coded, just in case the sides ever get mixed up.

This Roosters and Hens themed chess set is made of non-weighted, plastic resin, hand painted chess set pieces.
