The Soccer or Football theme chess set, from the Chess House, brings the action and excitement of the world's most popular sport to the chess board! A Soccer great such as the master of the world's game, Brazil's Edson Arantes Do Nascimento (Pelé) can be brought back to play exceptionally once more--hopefully though, he's playing for you and not your opponent! That could mean disaster coming from a lightning fast goal of checkmate out of the keeper's box.

In deep colors of red and blue, it's simple and easy to tell the teams apart; the coaches are fittingly the kings; without them, it's a guaranteed loss! With captains playing as the queen, and the rest of the lineup coming in--goalkeepers, regular players, and even the bench with a few players resting, you are fully stocked with a great line-up... the only question is, how amazing are your soccer skills? Every piece has a lovely green turf for a base, and the forward pawns each have a soccerball.
