A full tournament-sized Chess set, the Reykjavik II Series chess set features a 3.75" King with a 1.75"diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of ebonized boxwood. The Chess pieces are Black and Natural Lacquered and heavily weighted with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a rich finish.

• Also known as faux Ebony, Ebonized Boxwood is created when Boxwood is treated with a specialized stain to create the look of Ebony. When done properly, it can be difficult to distinguish between an ebonized and ebony piece when brand new. It is perfect for those who want the classical look of a Genuine Ebony Chess set at an affordable price.

Chessboard:

• The Standard Traditional Striped Ebony / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard with 2.25" Squares features Striped Ebony (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Coffeewood delimiter and a Striped Ebony frame. This Chessboard is  0.5" thick, has a satin finish and a beautiful moulded edge. Has felt pads at each corner to slightly elevate board from surface and protect from scratches.

Chessbox:

• The Mahogany Standard Chess Box is lined in green velour, divided and features brass quadrant hinges and a brass locking clasp.
