A full tournament-sized Chess set, the Reykjavik II Series chess set features a 3.75" King with a 1.75" diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by master artisans and crafted out of rosewood and boxwood.

The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton over 10 years ago.

• The Standard Traditional Striped Ebony / Bird's Eye Maple wooden Chessboard with 2.25" Squares features Striped Ebony (dark) and Bird's Eye Maple (light) squares with a Coffeewood delimiter and a Striped Ebony frame. This Chessboard is  0.5" thick, has a satin finish and a beautiful moulded edge. Has felt pads at each corner to slightly elevate board from surface and protect from scratches.

Chessbox:

• The Mahogany Standard Chess Box is lined in green velour, divided and features brass quadrant hinges and a brass locking clasp.
