Recently our grandson found my chess pieces during a visit to our house. After picking up the pieces he had scattered around the room and putting them back in the container, I wondered if I could refurbish the old set, which I had purchased when I was in high school over 50 years ago. I cleaned and refinished the board and then searched the 'net for a replacement for the black knight that has been missing for years and years. I found it at Chess House. It was exactly the right size, diameter, and weight, and even if the design doesn't match perfectly, one has to look carefully to see the differences. I also bought some replacement felt pads.
