In this particular article a young boy named peter has a disorder that made reading a frustration to him, its not that he wasn't trying his best he just couldn't do it. He would spend time memorizing a word with his teacher and come across it on another page and not be able to remember it. His school was even thinking they would hold him back a grade because his reading skills were so bad. He started playing chess and caught onto the game quickly.
