Chess Tutorial on DVD is the most inexpensive way to interactively learn the different elemental aspects of the game of chess. Using a chess training DVD is second best only to having a live chess coach, and much cheaper! Besides that you can put a chess dvd on pause or rewind, and you just cant do that to a chess coach! The reason why Chess Instructional DVDs are so much better than say a book or software, is because it can engage three senses, sight, sound, and touch. Now some of you may ask "how does a chess DVD involve my sense of feeling?" well let me explain. It has been scientifically proven that some people learn better by hearing, some by doing, and some by seeing it being done. I learn best by doing, so if I want to get the most out of a chess instructional DVD I have a chess board (sometimes more that one) set up and ready to follow the teachers board on the DVD.
