Vinyl Roll-up Chess boards

Vinyl roll-up chess boards are typical for play in chess tournaments and clubs. They are also great for personal use. Schools typically purchase these boards in large quantities for chess tournaments and competitions. These vinyl boards are used throughout the United States and Canada and are typically the standard for all types of chess play.

The vinyl boards should always be rolled up (not folded). Rolling up your vinyl chess board so that the squares appear on the outside is always a good idea. This ensures that any curling effect will be downwards and the chess board will have no tendency to tip your chessmen.
