This was Evan's first overnight camping trip to Deer Park in the Olympic mountain range of Washington. One mile above sea level, near the straight of Juan de Fuca he took in breathtaking views in all directions. That evening we played some chess with this set.

I just got this in the mail a couple hours ago and I’m thoroughly impressed with the set. The board is nice and flexible and I love the thickness of the pieces and how they look on the board. It comes with 2 extra queens, and I went ahead and ordered 2 extra knights with the board (I would have ordered more queens but only one color was available at the time I purchased).
Some magnets are definitely stronger than others but when I tilt the board on its side, only 1 pawn slides off the board. Still a 5 star product in my opinion, because I believe they send replacements for weak magnets.

The folding milled-leather-covered board is attractive and sturdy, yet lightweight, and the wooden pieces attractive. The set includes two bags: a long one for the board and a smaller one for the pieces. Both of them zip shut. I love it.
