The set is beautiful but, I purchased the chess set for my grandson for his birthday which is May 6. It will be a few days before I can give you a good review.

Excellent Fit.

Coolest chess set I have ever owned. Arrived in great condition. Wish the red pieces and spaces were a few shades darker, but guess that can't really be helped with the type of material. In any case, it complements the black coffee table in the den perfectly, and lends just the classic appearance I'm trying to give the apartment. Worth every penny.
