I had some trouble with the order process where it was not clear that the "order in x hours and get it by date y" condition that I was depending on (for a birthday gift) had gone away. When the order completed email arrived it was for a later date that did not work. I think this had something to do with the handoff to Shop. After a phone conversation with Chess House (email just offered an expedited delivery for more money) the delivery fee was waived and all went great. Gift was a big hit.

Perfect set for the price!

I am very pleased with this set. The board is heavy and the pieces are nicely weighted, with beautiful detail. I purchased the ebonized pieces and board. Nice bonus are the two bags for the chessmen that are very robust. For the money I doubt you could get a better set. Best of all though was the customer service from chesshouse.
