It all fits in this large chess bag! It's recommended for anyone that needs a portable chess tote with some additional room for their chess equipment. Since some 4" sets with extra queens don't fit well in the smaller bag, this large carryall is a good choice if you carry a little extra. You'll appreciate the large space for any size chess clock. Plus, the zippered pockets hold any standard size chess set you own. Also, rollup your vinyl chessboard or mousepad chessboard and use the velcro straps to hold it in place. A large interior pocket holds books, scorepads or scoresheets.
- 22" x 14" bag holds it all!
- Padded for added protection
- Balanced design
- Holds any size chess clock
- Holds all standard size pieces even with extra queens
good qaulity exactly as described. strap handles could be better qaulity but adequate for the price.
Not highest quality but much satisfactory in comparison to its discounted price.
It is definitely a bag, and it for sure holds chess pieces (3.75 inch king) + roll-up board (2.25 inch squares), there is a place for clock and pockets for pens and notebooks.
Quality is good for the price - this is not a luxury item, but at 15$ you should not expect one.
I must admit I was expecting a better bag. The straps to hold the board are too short for 22" mousepad boards. The strap is about 5 3/4" long and created a hole of about 1 1/4". You can get a 20" vinyl or flex-pad board in. The straps for the clock are strange. Each strap is 17" long with 1 1/2" velcro on each end that frays easily. The straps are so long there is no way to effectively secure a standard DGT North American digital clock, unless the clock was gigantic. They are too long to strap the clock in and too short if you wrap them around twice. The large pouches for the pieces are very good. The two large pockets on the side opposite the pouches should have the option of opening to allow one large pocket but don't, so you are left with two pockets that can hold a book or scorepads, but little else. The bag is sturdy on the outside.
I cannot see how I can use the clock straps, so if I were to use this bag I would probably have to store the clock in one of the pockets. Additionally, the only way to carry my 22" mousepad board is to just toss it in the bag without strapping it in. I may use this bag occasionally, but frankly, a simple backpack would have been better.
The bag arrived much earlier than I expected. I like Chess House for many reasons so I will continue to purchase items from them. I'm very happy with my flex-pad board and the fast delivery. Probably should have waited and got a different bag but the Sale tag got me.
My husband loves this bag,and he can put all of his chess pieces, with clock and board inside..He is extremely Satisfied!!! Thanks a Million
