New carrying case for DGT chessboard

This is the RED version of the new design of the carrying case for the DGT chessboard. The best feature is the replacement of the weak and brittle zippers on the old case design. The Velcro top makes it easier to slip the wooden or plastic chess boards into the case without risk to scratching the boards against the metal zippers. The single pouch for the chess pieces is spacious enough to hold all the chess pieces, but I recommend using drawstring bags with the pieces for added security and protection especially when storing the cables and other DGT accessories in the same pouch. The worst feature of the new case is the lack of pouches for the DGT chess clock, cables, AC adapter and other DGT accessories. I use a separate carrying case or box for the chess clock. Fortunately, a benefit of reducing the number of pouches is that the overall weight is lighter and more manageable for transport and storage.
