The pieces of this set are beautiful and it's a very large board though I was disappointed that the inside cavity is bare and without a stable resting place to keep the pieces safe and snug. For the money it would have been nice to have the inside hollow done up to properly store the pieces securely when not in use. Otherwise a really great that I hope last a lifetime.
This was a gift and well worth the money. It is beautiful and the detailed animals are outstanding. To be honest it "wowed" my daughter and future son in law. 🤗
Bought Savannah Animals chess set for my daughters bday. PayPal caused a delay in my order. Chess house went above and beyond to get it out to me faster for a very small price. Recieved the set and was VERY pleased with the quality. One small blemish on a pawn. Chess house had new replacement piece out the same day. I simply love the Savanna Chess Set my grandson got me for Father's Day ! Although the pieces take me back to my African motherland heritage, I also really like the raised chess board that swivels to give me the white pieces when I am able to defeat my grandson !
The chess set is well made, beautifully painted, and so regal. Perfect for our old world safari themed home office. It is large which I like. The Chess House people as well are so helpful and so nice. Very happy with my purchase.
