I ordered from another country, the black king has a little damage, for long shipping better packaging is needed

Beautiful Set!

We bought this for a birthday present for my husband who loves chess. It will go on a handmade chess table that we are having made for his birthday. The pieces are beautiful and the weight is perfect. I did not give it five stars as I was disappointed with the packing. All the pieces were all in one bag and stuffed in a box. The pieces could have easily been scratched or broken in shipping. For such an expensive set, it seemed like a very cheap way to package it.

Our adult 42 year old son had this “Russian” chess set on a birthday wish list and I got it for him as a special surprise which he just loved when he opened it yesterday,February 1st.He is teaching their two daughters, ages 11 & 7 1/2, to play and they love the game. When they saw the new chess set as dad opened it they were excited. Our son loved looking at the great pieces they are beautifully made! Thank you.
