The designers from Studio Anne Carlton have looked at the beauty, energy and imagination of the great Deco designers. The glamour of Hollywood style in the period between the wars heavily influenced Art Deco designs and created this sophisticated chess set.

BOARD:

The remarkable black anigre and erable chess board is ultra smooth for an awe-inspiring presence. High contrast white erable squares feature slightly marbled wood grain, overall a fantastic look with black chessmen.

The playing surface and other surfaces are finished with high quality veneers and a special finish to enhance and protect the wood, giving the chess board a smooth matte finish and preventing glare. The board is manufactured in Spain with the same techniques used for high-end furniture.
