Walnut is a beautiful tree that symbolizes confidence and mental wisdom. The heartwood of the tree can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Color can sometimes have a grey , purple or redish cast. The handcrafted Walnut Backgammon with side racks is available in 2 sizes. The playing field is a combination of walnut with oak & black color points.
This backgammon is handmade using the art of marquetry (also spelled as marqueterie) which is the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns and designs.
