This is one of our favorite small wood and magnetic travel chess sets! Our local coffee shop has one, and people love to play chess on it every evening. It's not too small, yet small enough to fit on any table. Plus the pieces are magnetic and most won't slide around. It's even got "algebraic" coordinates engraved in the edge of the board, a rarity for wood chess sets. The pieces are easy to recognize for any chess player, even beginners. The pieces are also compartmentalized in their own little pockets inside the folding case. It closes nicely with a brass clasp. This chess set as a whole is a pleasure to use, and is very clean and nice.
