excellent tournament chess set! February 15, 2010

I bought this for my son to take to tournaments. We play it at home as well. It is an excellent tournament set- board, pieces, and carrying bag are all durable and are holding up well after almost a year of use.

Our homeschool co-op chess class uses this set with great success. Colorful, durable bags help kids identify as their own. This spring the bags are a bit smaller, so it's pretty difficult to get the chess workbooks to fit inside, but still possible if you put workbook in before pieces. The size and clarity of the chess boards reduce confusion and support focus on the game. Pieces are easy to handl
