A great chess book |

I have far too many chess books and software. There are only two authors who "speak" to me and always make sense: Silman and Purdy. Silman's endgame book far exceeds all the advertising and review hype. He cleverly teaches what we can actually use base on our current strength. Ever seen an endgame book NOT discuss mating a lone K with only a K, B, and N? The odds of it happening are so remote, why waste time on it. The book is unbelievably cheap base on its physical and teaching qualities. A truly must have. You will actually want to read and study it, a rarety for most chess books.
