Who qualifies for Free Shipping?
  Free Shipping applies to orders over $100 shipping to the United States 48 continental states - excluding Hawaii and Alaska.

Exceptions: A few oversize items with unique shipping requirements are excluded from the free shipping offer.
Where do you ship?
  ChessHouse ships worldwide. If you will be shipping to an address outside the US, please read the Help page for  International Customers
How do I estimate shipping?
  You can estimate your shipping before deciding to order. It's the first step, and you can easily do it youself! Just add something to your Shopping Cart and enter your Country, State, and Zip code. Now you can preview all the choices available.
When will my order ship?
 
For your order to ship the same day, enter your order by 5PM Eastern time.

During holidays, please allow up to 24 hours for processing and shipment.

If your order must be delayed for any reason we will make a reasonable attempt to contact you by email or phone and explain the reason for the delay.

When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email notifying you that it has shipped and with a tracking number if one is available.

Domestic Shipping
Overnight (Express Mail®) Next Day
2-3 Day Packages (Priority Mail®) allow 2-5 days
Ground Packages (Parcel Post®, Media Mail® , etc...) allow 2-9 days

Media Mail shipping an inexpensive shipping option USPS allows only for books, DVDs, software, documents, and similar paper and electronic media. If you attempt to use this option when ordering chess sets or non-qualifying items, your order will be delayed as we contact you with shipping change options and the extra cost.

International Shipping
Global Express Guaranteed® typically 1-3 days
Express Mail International® (EMS) 5-7 days
Priority Mail® International 7-15 days
First-Class Mail® International (First Class results vary greatly between countries. Normal delivery is between 1-3+ weeks. No guarantee for items assumed lost because of extended delivery time unless insurance was specifically requested and added. Only proof of mailing and confirmation that item was sent to the correct address.)

When can I expect UPS delivery?
 
  • Air, Express and urgent orders are handled with top priority.
  • UPS guarantees only 2nd Day and Next Day service levels from the date they are shipped.
This map can help you estimate when UPS Ground will deliver at your door (from the date shipped). Remember: UPS "days" are non-holiday weekdays only (Mon-Fri)
Insurance
  We insure UPS orders for you automatically. You do not have to pay extra for insurance. US Post Office orders are not automatically insured and do not come with a delivery guarantee. But we do see good results with Priority Mail, First Class, and Media Mail.
