The type of woods for the white and black pieces is not specified for this set.
Some sets you do and some you don't, why not all????

The woods used in this set are Boxwood (light) and Stained Boxwood (dark). We have overlooked just a few, but it's normal to indicate the wood type. This electronic chess computer is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
