What engine does dgt centaur use and what is highest Elo that you can set it at.
Wish to set at higher level than my current rating of 1979 . Is that possible.

Robert, the Centaur is built on the Stockfish Engine and will play from 300 to 3000 ELO according to DGT. On Friendly mode, the computer will allow you some chances to win. In Challenge mode it will play stronger than your level. In the highest level it will play at maximum strength and will be tough to beat! It does give a scoring of your progress. This chess board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
