Can one use other chess pieces, on this board, other than the one supplied with it.
I under stand they are not magnetic. If not magnetic
why can't one use regular chess pieces.

The pieces that come with the centaur are the only ones that can be used since they have a special conductive surface on the base that works with this technology. Some people have added foil to their own pieces and made them work however. This electronic chess computer is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
