Does the Millennium Chess Champion (Master II) - Electronic Chess Computer have a beginner level? When?
The batteries are replaced, does the unit retain it's settings?
I'm looking for an electronic chess game that can be carried with me during traveling. Is there a better unit available?

Yes, it has beginner levels. When the batteries are removed, it reverts to factory default settings. It is more compact than the Millennium Genius, but most adults prefer the Genius because it is a dedicated Chess Computer with better features. This magnetic board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
