Chesslink connects either via Bluetooth or USB. The USB printer cable would need to be purchased separately.

Question: Does the chess link replace the Millennium Exlusive's Clock/Power connector?
Answer: ChessLink utilizes the same power connector and board cable as the Millennium Exclusive Module.
And for additional clarity between ChessLink and the Exclusive Computer Module:
The Exclusive Computer Module is a computer that provides computer play response and a variety of study features independent of another smart device.
Chesslink is a bluetooth connection adapter that provides communication between board and device to which it is paired (Android / IOS primarily), but it is not a computer itself. This travel chess is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
Question: Do you know what version the Chesslink is?
Answer: While we don't currently know the Bluetooth version of the ChessLink, if it is Bluetooth 5, it would be backwards-compatible with Bluetooth 4.0, 4.1, and 4.2 devices.
Question: Sorry just sent a question, i have the king performance not the king exclusive am sorry.
Answer: The same is true for the King Performance, only you will need to set the King Performance into 'ChessLink Mode' first through the menu. This magnetic board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
Question: Or just have to plug the board and link them?
Answer: Right! You link them. Plug the power supply from the Exclusive into the ChessLink, and that will power the Exclusive board through the 4 pin cable. This travel chess is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
Question: Do you know when this product will be compatible for iPhone on lichess to be able to play with another player?
Answer: We are not aware of anything in development from Millennium to make lichess available through ChessLink on an iPhone app; however you can contact Millennium to inquire: support@millennium2000.de

Answer: Jack, thanks for checking in! The Chess Link is a Millennium exclusive product and only works with their products, the Exclusive, the 960 and the King Performance.
Question: Does the chesslink allow you to play against a computer program like Fritz on your PC?
Answer: R. Bowes, the way that the ChessLink works is that it connects with apps that are designed to link with it so that you can use your PC, your tablet or smart phone. I don't know of any apps that also use Fritz to connect to the ChessLink but that doesn't mean that something isn't in the works. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

Answer: Mike, sorry it took so long to get back I was waiting on a response from the manufacturer. This the response I got from them:
In principle, you can export chess games in PGN format with the ChessLink module, provided that the chess app used has the appropriate properties. You can already export chess games in PGN format both with the ChessGenius and the King program.
Question: Can it be used with a mac book pro?
Answer: Frank, so sorry it has taken so long for me to reply, I was checking in with our supplier about this question. This was their reply: There is currently no chess app for the MacBook Pro that is compatible with our ChessLink, but only for iPhones and iPad devices. However, I am optimistic that we will have an offer for Mac computers in a few months.
