I am wondering about these Millennium Genius Chess Pieces - I see that they have felt bottoms.
I have 2 questions - 1 : are they heavier than the standard pieces, and 2: do they have magnets under the felt? I'd like pieces that are better than the ones that came with the board. Thanks! This magnetic board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.

Jason, I am not sure why these pieces were noted as being felted, they are not, sorry! As to the questions you have about them, which set of pieces do you want them to be compared to in terms of weight? The magnets that these pieces do have are pretty week, I don't ever tell my customers to depend on the fact that there are magnets.
These pieces would be the exact same as the ones that come originally with the computer. This chess set is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
