My clock is inaccurate, how can I fix this?

Above the time setting xxxx on the back of the clock is a semi circle slot in the shape of a smile. You'll see there is a slider inside that slot that you can move to the right or left. This makes adjustments to how quickly or slowly the clock on that side each second takes, allowing you to adjust the accuracy of the time to actual.
