How many ounces is the set?
I read that they are not weighted......are they totally solid plastic or partial solid? I love the looks of these. Not sure how I missed them. Not sure about the black and white board with the black and white pieces. How hard is it to see pieces on this board? Thanks! This chess board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.

Jeff, the set weighs about 45 ounces. No I don't think they have actual weights in them but they are not hollow and light, they are substantial. I think the pieces look great on the board, not hard to see at all.
