What does it mean that there is NO EXTRA Piece for the QUEEN.
Do the other pieces have extra pieces. I am Not a chess player. These are for mygrandson as part of his X-Mas gift. He has a custom glass chess board?

Theresa, sometimes sets come with an extra queen per side because when a pawn can travel all the way across the board it can be promoted for any other piece and most people want it promoted to a queen. This set does not have an extra queen per side. This chess board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
