Jeff, thanks for checking in! Sorry about the wait. No, these don't have a glossy finish. We used to have a set similar that was but we don't anymore. This wooden chess set is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
Are the Zareb Burnt pieces double weighted and they are glossy finished?
