Is this compatible with online chess platforms? Can I connect and play with someone on real board? ?

The Centaur is a stand alone board and does not connect online. Some people have modified the product to give it the ability to do that, but it requires voiding the warranty and a level of technical knowledge to do. This chess board is designed for quality and enjoyable play.
